Mental health issues can be so diverse, but at the Core we understand that addressing these problems needs to be person centred. We aim to help clients to recognise and manage their symptoms and prevent reoccurrence.

We offer workshops available in weekly sessions for blocks of 6 weeks that will raise self-esteem and personal awareness; with the aim to enable people to move into mainstream fitness. The support provided by the group sessions will help improve social functions; and there will also be opportunity to hire a fitness buddy – someone that can accompany you on your fitness journey by attending classes or gym sessions with you, or simply just for a coffee and a chat.

We have links with other local initiatives that will help us to provide a well rounded service, with variety being the epicentre of everything we offer. By tailor making our programs we can reach out to a whole host of conditions that can range from low mood or anxiety to Asperger’s or clinical depression.

We also identify part of our community struggles with addiction, and we strive to provide a service to help put people back on the right track, and train them to manage their day to day habits encouraging healthier and more meaningful daily living activities.

There are opportunities to work with an experienced rehabilitation personal trainer in private sessions.
